Camden walk of fame adds Jersey Joe

A big honor Friday for late boxing great, Jersey Joe Walcott.

He was selected as a Camden Walk of Fame 2015 inductee.

A bronze inlet was placed on the walkway in front of Campbell Field.

Born Arnold Raymond Cream, The Camden resident made his debut as a professional fighter in 1930.

At the age of 37, he became the World American Heavyweight Boxing Champ.

He passed away in 1994.
