Bucks Co. woman finally tracks down her mother

SELLERSVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Bucks County woman who was abandoned as a baby has succeeded in tracking down her birth mother.

We first told you about Heather Kane last month when she posted a plea to the Action News Facebook page.

She hoped social media would help her find the woman who left her outside Grandview Hospital in Sellersville in 1986.

Her wish came true when a woman spotted her photo online, and sent her an email claiming to be her mom.

On Friday, we learned the two have confirmed their relationship through D-N-A testing.
