HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. (WPVI) -- A member of the postal service was applauded Friday not for delivering mail but delivering kindness.
Postal officials presented Brea Lewis with a certificate of appreciation at the Huntingdon Valley Post Office.
Two weeks ago Lewis noticed an elderly woman walking in a remote area who appeared to be disoriented and lost.
It turns out, the woman had walked two and a half hours from Warminster.
Lewis called police and waited with the woman until officers arrived.
Officials say Lewis likely saved the woman's life.
