AAA Five and Four Diamond Awards presented to 15 local hotels

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- AAA gave its highest honor to 15 local hotels today.

The Five and Four Diamond Awards were handed out at the Rittenhouse Hotel, which has made the list for 24 years.

12 of the other recipients are in Philadelphia.

The Inn at Bowman's Hill in Bucks County and the Savona in Montgomery County round out the winners.

Properties have to go through unannounced visits from AAA inspectors before they make a decision.

The Rittenhouse Hotel (The only AAA Five Diamond Hotel in Philadelphia - 24 year recipient)

Omni Hotel at Independence Park (Four Diamond - 24 year recipient)

Hyatt at the Bellevue (Four Diamond - 20 year recipient)

Lacroix at the Rittenhouse (Four Diamond - 19 year recipient)

The Westin Philadelphia (Four Diamond - 14 year recipient)

The Hilton Inn at Penn (Four Diamond - 14 year recipient)

Sofitel Philadelphia (Four Diamond - 14 year recipient)

Moshulu (Four Diamond - 11 year recipient)

XIX (Nineteen) Restaurant (Four Diamond - 9 year recipient)

Loews Philadelphia Hotel (Four Diamond - 7 year recipient)

Le Meridien Philadelphia (Four Diamond - 5 year recipient)

Hotel Monaco Philadelphia (Four Diamond - 3 year recipient)

Hotel Palomar Philadelphia (Four Diamond - 3 year recipient)

BUCKS COUNTY:

The Inn at Bowman's Hill, New Hope (Four Diamond - 9 year recipient)

MONTGOMERY COUNTY:

Savona, West Conshohocken (Four Diamond - 16 year recipient)
