Car lands on another in Schuylkill Expressway crash

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- A 2-car crash is slowing traffic on the westbound Schuylkill Expressway.

It happened before 6:00 a.m. Friday in the near the Montgomery Drive exit.

Police tell Action News two cars collided, and one landed on top of the other in the left lane.

Images from Chopper 6 HD broadcast on Action News showed a sedan pushed against the Jersey barrier in the left lane and another car on top of it.

The two left lanes were blocked at the scene. Traffic was getting by in the right lane.

Westbound traffic was backed up past Girard Avenue. Eastbound traffic was slowed by a gaper delay.
