A gas leak prompted evacuations at a Northeast Philadelphia apartment complex.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A gas leak forced 30 residents out of their Northeast Philadelphia apartment building Monday night.



The incident occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. along the 9200 block of Blue Grass Road near Grant Avenue.



Arriving fire crews discovered high readings and called for PGW.



Crews were able to get the situation under control around 11:00 p.m.



There is no word on what caused the leak.
