A 16-year-old Philadelphia girl says she was abducted and raped on her way to school on Thursday. The teenage victim was being treated at St. Christopher's Hospital overnight. A concerned passerby picked the girl up near Frankford and Cheltenham Avenues and brought her to the hospital around 9 o'clock Thursday night. She was treated for lacerations to her hands and torso.

Special victims officers were also called to question the girl. She told police she had escaped an attacker who had abducted her as she walked to Simon Gratz High School that morning. She said the man took her to two different locations and sexually assaulted her before she was able to get away.

Police aren't saying exactly where the abduction occurred. But she told police she'd be able to show them where she was attacked once she's released from the hospital.
