Troops fighting in the war on terrorism got a warm welcome home on Friday.

More than 100 members of the 6th Airlift Squadron returned to McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey.

They're part of the 305th Air Mobility Wing.

They were welcomed home with screams of glee, and lots of hugs and kisses from friends and family members. There was even one marriage proposal!

The troops spent more than four more months assisting with operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
