A Middletown man who killed a friend after interrupting the victim having sex with a woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison. Twenty-three-year-old Ryan Sinclair was sentenced Friday. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 31-year-old O'Neil Ebanks.

Sinclair was at Ebanks' home on Nov. 15, 2006, when Ebanks and a woman went into a bedroom. But Sinclair kept interrupting to ask for various items, and Ebanks lashed out, slapping Sinclair with the flat part of a machete.

Sinclair left and came back, knocking on the window for Ebanks to let him back in. Then he pulled a gun and shot Ebanks several times.
