RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - February 12, 2008
Van Yahres died Friday at the age of 81. But he's requested friends
make a contribution to Obama's presidential campaign instead of
sending flowers. Obama is in a tight race with Hillary Clinton,
heading into today's Virginia primary. Van Yahres was a member of
the state's House of Delegates for 24 years, but felt a strong
political kinship to the young presidential contender.
