The Department of Transportation says it's had made plans to accommodate travelers during the weekend of NASCAR racing in Dover.

More than 100,000 fans will be at the track for the races, which begin with a Truck Series race on Friday and conclude with a Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday.

DelDOT's Transportation Management Center will monitor Dover traffic and make signal-timing changes as needed to reduce congestion.

Fans wishing to avoid traffic headaches can park their car for $20 at the Blue Hen Corporate Center on Bay Road and ride an express bus to the track.

Another express bus will operate from the Christiana Mall Park & Ride. The cost is $10 for the round trip.
