AVALON, N.J. - August 28, 2008 --
There is new tactic to nab the culprit behind the medical waste washing up on Avalon's beaches. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the guilty party. Tuesday was the third time since Saturday that needles and other medical debris washed up on the sand.
The beaches were closed for cleanup. They are all open again now.
Investigators are asking anyone with more information to come forward.
