Boy, 16, charged in Del. slaying

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - February 7, 2009 Police say Abednego Baynes was arrested Friday by U.S. Marshals in Elkton, Md., where he'd been hiding since the shooting.

Wilmington detectives interviewed Baynes and charged him with murder and weapons offenses in the death of 19-year-old William Teel. The victim was gunned down in the 2200 block of North Spruce Street on Jan. 8.
