ELSMERE, Del. - May 28, 2009 -
Maria Medina suffered head injuries when she was struck by the truck along Route 2 in Elsmere.
Police said Medina was crossing the street with friends and the traffic light changed before she made it to the curb.
She's in serious but stable condition at Christiana Hospital.
The driver of the pickup was not hurt.
