Delaware State Police say the derailment of a historic train stranded 150 passengers and closed a roadway. It happened just before 5:00 p.m. Sunday in Brandywine Springs.

State police say the Wilmington and Western Railroad train derailed at Faulkland Road.

The passengers were taken back to the Greenbank Station on another train.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the derailment is still under investigation.

It is not known when Faulkland Road will reopen.
