Elderly man struck by car in Rhawnhurst

RHAWNHURST - September 6, 2009 The man was struck shortly after 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of Cottman and Bustleton Avenues in the Philadelphia's Rhawnhurst section.

The 70-year-old man was taken by medics to Aria Hospital Torresdale division with unstable vitals.

Medics report the victim was unresponsive at time of transport.

According to detectives the striking car did stop.
