When they arrived they found an 18-year-old man on the ground who was hit by the vehicle.
He was transported to Einstein Hospital. Police say that the victim is in stable condition.
The vehicle fled from the scene.
Police are investigating.
Hit and run in Germantown
GERMANTOWN - October 4, 2009 Philadelphia Police were called out to the report of a hit and run on the 4900 block of Stenton Avenue in the city's Germantown section around 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
