At 1:57 a.m. Philadelphia police arrived on the scene on the 5100 block of Wayne Avenue. They were originally called there for a person with a gun. When they arrived they found 22-year-old Haala Mickens of the 200 block of West Hansbury suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
So far, there is no word on suspects or a motive.
