Police say 19-year-old Markis Harrison assaulted the female by lifting her off her feet and throwing her to floor causing the victim to suffer a head injury.
The assault occurred after the victim had confronted the suspect in the hallway and struck him in the face.
Harrison is charged with Aggravated Assault and is being held in Burlington County Jail.
