A Bucks County judge denied a request for a new trail filed by the lawyer for Susan Finkelstein, the woman convicted in the case of sex for World Series tickets.

Her attorney filed a mistrial motion Friday, and the issue was briefly argued Bucks County court. Ultimately, the judge denied the request.

Finkelstein faces sentencing next Thursday.

Back in March, a jury found Finkelstein guilty of attempted prostitution, but not guilty of prostitution.

She was accused of offering an undercover police officer sex for tickets to see the Phillies and Yankees play in a World Series game.

Police say the investigation began after Finkelstein posted an ad on the website Craigslist.
