The 44-year-old star of the new big-screen drama "For Colored Girls" says she'd love to foray into Brazilian music and Jazz, genres she grew up listening to. She said Monday at the movie's New York City premiere Brazilian music is "a great love" of hers.
Jackson plays a shrewd magazine executive facing marital problems in Tyler Perry's adaptation of Ntozake Shange's play "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf."
She says her other professional goals include becoming an action star and doing a sci-fi film.
