Police find kidnapping suspect, victim still missing

FALLS TOWNSHIP, Pa. - December 19, 2010

Authorities say Kenneth Patterson broke into Diane Corado's residence at the Village of Pennbrook apartments on Mill Creek Road in Falls Township between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Patterson allegedly beat her with a pipe and forced Corado and a friend into her Pontiac Aztec.

A short time later, the friend was let go.

Authorities say Patterson threatened to kill Corado and himself.

According to police, an Action News viewer called and told them where Corado's vehicle was.

The Aztec was located on the 1600 block of Norris Street in Camden.

Patterson and Corado were not with the vehicle.

Through investigation, the police were able to track down Patterson to the Clover Motel in Maple Shade. He is said to not be speaking to police.

Police still do not know the whereabouts of Corado.

If anyone knows where she is, they should call Falls Township Police at (215) 302-3309.
