Man struck, killed by snowplow in Trenton

Trenton Police investigating a snow plow struck and killed a man around 12:30 a.m. Thursday in Trenton, NJ.

The Incident happened at the corner of S. Warren Street and Front Street.

Police say a plow train was going through the area when a plow struck the man.

The driver of the plow directly behind noticed a body under the tires of the plow in front and immediately alerted the driver in front of him to stop.

The victim is identified at 47 year-old Quirino Azcona of Trenton.

Police were able to locate surveillance video from the location that shows the man falling into the snow bank before the plow comes by.

No charges have been filed.

Police are awaiting the results of an autopsy, but indicate that the preliminary investigation shows the incident was most likely an unfortunate accident.
