The victim, 23-year-old Christopher Jones of the 2500 block of Opal St., was shot just before midnight at 19th and Cumberland streets.
Investigators say Jones was shot multiple times in the chest and head. He died at the scene.
Action News has learned police are questioning someone in this case, but have not made any arrests.
There has been no word yet on a motive in this killing.
