They tested five-dozen anti-aging products on 350 real women and what they found may surprise you - The best products were also some of the least expensive.
When it comes to price, anti-aging products are all over the map - from under $10 to up to $400.
So, Prevention Magazine conducted six-week clinical tests on real women to take the guesswork out of which products are worth your money.
It then came up with its list of "Defy your Age" Beauty Award Winners.
"A lot of these products are available at the drug store and they can be under $30 a piece and, in some cases, under $5," said Katie Becker of Prevention Magazine.
The best day cream proves to protect your skin and reduce wrinkles and brown spots. It's L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Day Lotion SPF 30 for $25 at most drugstores.
"The L'Oreal Paris product won because after the six-week product, there was the greatest improvement in skin," said Becker.
Best Anti-Wrinkle Eye cream? Lift and Resculpt by Dr. LeWinn by Kinerase.. $28 at Walgreens.
"One tester saw a 40 percent reduction in that crow's feet area around her eyes," Becker said.
Prevention's beauty editor says it has peptides and a relatively new wrinkle-fighting ingredient.. Dill Extract!
"The lip balm is our favorite budget buy because it's only $2 – It is Blistex Five-star protection."
It has an SPF to protect your lips from the sun as well hyaluronic acid that makes your lips look fuller and plumper.
"$2 and it beat out products that were closer to $40 to $50 that were lip plumpers," she said.
Another smart budget buy is $4 conditioner by Garnier. Prevention says testing showed it protected hair 10-times more against breakage.
