It happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Mockingbird Hill Road.
According to police, the bus driver was attempting a turn when the bus got stuck on the lawn of a home and slid about 100 feet down a steep driveway.
The driver managed to bring the sliding bus under control at the end of the driveway, just short of an approximately 50 foot drop-off.
The incident also took down telephone and cable wires.
The driver and all 13 students were uninjured.
