Nnamdi Asomugha was carted off from the Eagles practice field on a Thanksgiving morning.

Action News sports reporter Jeff Skversky learned Asomugha suffered a left knee injury.

However, an Eagles spokesman did not have any immediate details on the seriousness of the cornerback's injury.

This comes as fellow cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is recovering from a high-ankle sprain.

The Eagles play the New England Patriots on Sunday.

A three-time Pro Bowl pick during his eight years with the Raiders, Asomugha signed a deal worth $60 million over five years with the Eagles during the off-season.
