The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 60th and Spruce Streets.
The victim was rushed to the hospital by police where he is listed in critical condition.
Police are looking for two men seen fleeing on foot northbound no Spruce Street.
The victim was able to tell police that the two men walked up to him and started shooting.
There is no word on a motive at this time.
