Police in Douglass Township, Montgomery County say the car was discovered upside-down in the West Branch of the Perkiomen Creek around 11 a.m. Sunday.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and the second was taken to a nearby hospital. Investigators did not immediately release the names of either person.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
