Emergency workers were alerted of the incident at 9:48 a.m. and responded to the scene on the 1000 block of Ford Street.
Medics flew the child by medical helicopter to an area hospital for treatment. The severity of the child's injuries has not been released.
The age and name of the child are also unknown at this time.
Police are investigating.
