The family of a hit and run victim in Delaware County speaks out for the first time.

Thomas Quercetti was critically injured and found lying in the street early yesterday morning on the 100 block of North State Road in Springfield.

Quercetti's family is pleading with the driver of the car to turn himself in.

The victim's sister Jackie Quercetti told Action News, "He's the kind of guy that will get up at any hour of the night to come get you. He's my brother, my best friend and I just want him to get better."

The family is willing to offer a reward for information leading to the hit and run driver.

Police say the vehicle that hit Quercetti should have front end damage, possibly to the bumper, headlamp, hood and windshield areas.
