Things a judge shouldn't do

WOODSTOCK, Va. (AP) - September 11, 2012

James H. Allamong Junior was sentenced yesterday in a plea deal with prosecutors.

Allamong is a substitute judge in Virginia's Shenandoah County.

Felony charges were dropped but his honor will do 30 days for growing the illegal weed on his property.

The Daily News Record of Harrisonburg reports Allamong was also fined 500 bucks, put on two years' probation and was ordered to do 200 hours of community service.
