It happened around 4:00 Saturday afternoon at Nifty Fifty's on the 1900 block of Macdade Boulevard.
Crews reported heavy fire showing from the ceiling and the walls upon arrival.
The fire was brought under control by about 4:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The cause for the blaze remains under investigation.
Meanwhile the restaurant plans to reopen on Monday.
