A Philadelphia man has been charged for his role in robbing a State College jewelry store in early January.

Authorities say 41-year-old Rodger K. Williams flashed a .357-caliber revolver and ordered employees at Kranich's Jewelers to hand over the keys to the display case.

Officials say that Williams was charged on Monday with conspiracy, robbery, theft, and receiving stolen property.

Williams was allegedly one of five robbers who drove to the store in three separate vehicles on Jan. 9. Police say they made off with $950,000 in merchandise.

Williams remains incarcerated near Cary, N.C., where he was arrested in late January during a similar heist.

No attorney was listed on court papers.
