The shooting happened around 11:45 p.m. on the 6000 block of Front Street.
The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Carlos Galloza from the 100 block of Rosemar Street. Police say Galloza was shot in the right eye and killed during a robbery.
No arrests have been made.
