Eagles to revitalize Lincoln Financial Field in $125 million project

PHILADELPHIA - June 9, 2013

The project aims to give fans more convenience, comfort and connection and better enhance their experience during games.

"We have had discussions with season ticket holders over the past couple of seasons to find out what was important to them. We listened and developed a plan of action," said Eagles' President Don Smolenski, in a statement.

Some of the upgrades to come include high definition and LED video boards, increased Wi-Fi installation, seat modifications and a number of murals in various parts of the complex.

Officials say the project will take place over a two-year period.

"This is an exciting and new era for the Philadelphia Eagles," said Eagles Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie.

The Linc has been home to the Birds since 2003.
