It happened at 3:00 a.m. Sunday at Jay W. Miller Hall on the campus of Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington.
Police say the woman met 23-year-old Carlos Bastardo at his on-campus apartment.
She told police Bastardo started making unwanted sexual advances and then raped her inside the apartment before she broke free and fled.
Bastardo was arrested and charged with Rape Second Degree without Consent.
A judge ordered him committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $120,000 cash bond.
