Pregnant woman shaken up in home invasion in South Philadelphia

Police say a pregnant woman was shaken up by a home invasion in South Philadelphia late Tuesday night.

The incident happened shortly before 11:00 p.m. along the 2400 block of South 3rd Street.

According to police, two armed masked men forced their way into a house and ransacked the second floor.

The robbers made off with some jewelry.

A 29-year-old, eight-months pregnant woman and a 45-year-old neighbor were inside the home.

They were both shaken up but not hurt.

Police are searching for the two suspects.
