Authorities identify man killed in Trenton shooting

TRENTON, N.J. - January 20, 2014

But it's still not clear what spurred the shooting of Keyon Shontel Wade, a 39-year-old Ewing resident who was killed Saturday afternoon.

Mercer County prosecutors say Trenton police who happened to be on patrol in the area of Walnut Avenue and Chambers Street heard some shots fired around 12:45 p.m. They soon found Wade, who had been shot in the torso.

Wade was taken to hospital, where he died a short time later.

Further details on the shooting have not been disclosed.
