Girl hurt in BB gun attack in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say an 11-year-old girl was hurt after she was attacked with a BB gun in North Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 12 p.m. Saturday outside her home on the 2800 block of West Allegheny Avenue.

She was checked by medics who arrived on the scene.

Fortunately, the pellets did not penetrate her skin. She is expected to be OK.

So far, no word on any arrests.
