Man charged in sex assault of teen on New Jersey beach

KEANSBURG, N.J. -- Police have arrested a Camden man and charged him with sexually assaulting a girl on Keansburg beach.

The 15-year-old's relative called police after becoming concerned with her behavior.

The Asbury Park Press reports police set up a perimeter and arrested 20-year-old Victor Bennett after finding him in the parking lot of a condominium complex.

Bennett is held on $400,000 bail, charged with sexual assault, sexual contact, child endangerment and criminal restraint.

It's not known if he has a lawyer.
