Hillside Elementary School students learn game of golf in Montco

BERWYN, Pa. (WPVI) -- In Berwyn, Montgomery County, students at Hillside Elementary School took part in a new program: learning about the game of golf.

Professional players with the PGA were on hand Tuesday to give instruction and encouragement.

The school was recently awarded a grant to expand its golf unit.

Students not only learn the basics, but courtesy, honesty and respect are also emphasized as part of their training.
