Cape May voted best family beach in the nation

CAPE MAY, N.J. -- Familyvacationcritic.com released its annual report on the best family beaches int he country on Thursday, and Cape May, New Jersey took the top spot.

Beyond the beautiful sands and picturesque views, editors considered accommodations and amenities like dining and entertainment for the entire family.

Carlsbad State Beach in California came in second, followed by Rhode Island's Crescent Beach.

Rehoboth Beach in Delaware came in at number 9.
