Girl pens petition asking magazines to diversify their images

A little girl is taking a big stand against body images, and boldly asking magazines to show young girls like herself that beauty goes far beyond what we see.

10-year-old Tish Melton's now viral petition is called "Help Save Humanity."

She writes, "Magazines should not show beauty is most important on the outside. It is not. Show girls who are strong, kind, brave, thoughtful, unique and show women of all different types of hair and bodies."

As it turns out, her very proud mom battled bulimia and body issues when she was 10.

Mom agrees with the message, and so do the people signing that petition and sharing it like crazy on social media.
