German culture takes over Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A bit of German culture took over parts of North Philadelphia Monday

Once again the Cannstatter held its very popular Volksfest party.

The event is every Labor Day weekend and celebrates German heritage.

The three day fest features great food, entertainment, prizes, rides for the kids and of course a beer garden!

The festival ends Monday night around 8pm.
