CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a possible hate crime at a church in Center City.
The incident was reported around 9:56 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, located at 17th and Moravian streets.
According to police, an unknown male reported there was a wooden cross and a full tank of gasoline leaning on the church.
Fire crews also responded to the scene.
No fire or accelerant was added to the wooden cross, officials say.
No injuries were reported.
