CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public's assistance to identify and locate a suspect wanted in a bank robbery in Center City.
It happened around 10:38 a.m. Wednesday at the Republic Bank located on the 1600 block of Market Street.
Authorities say the suspect entered the bank and showed a demand note to a teller.
After obtaining an unknown amount of cash, authorities say the suspect fled the scene on foot. He was last seen heading westbound on Market Street.
The suspect is described as a white man in his early to mid-50s, about 5 foot 11 inches tall, slender build and bald. He was seen wearing a black, hooded Adidas jacket with three white stripes down the sleeves.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

There is a reward for information leading to the suspect's capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
