CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a Christmas Eve tragedy that left one person dead in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
A single-vehicle crash happened around 6 p.m. Thursday on Route 70 eastbound near Cuthbert Boulevard.
Police said the driver of a car lost control, left the roadway and struck a pole.
Medics responded, but were unable to resuscitate the driver who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic along Route 70 eastbound was shut down for more than an hour.
No word yet on what made the driver lose control.
