CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Rail service was delayed for part of the day in Delaware County after a person was struck and killed on the tracks.
It happened before 10 a.m. Friday near the Chester Transportation Center in Chester, Pa.
Action News it was an Amtrak train that struck someone.
Video from Chopper 6 HD showed an Amtrak train - a conventional train, not an Acela train - stopped on the tracks.
There is no word on the victim's identity at this time.
Service has since resumed for both Amtrak and SEPTA.
