A family in Illinois was celebrating the upcoming birth of a baby when shots were fired into the crowd.

Police say the gunfire erupted as people were attending a shower in Chicago's West Englewood neighborhood.

Six people, including two children, were hit.

A witness says a boy took a bullet to the chest.

A girl was wounded in her right leg.

Members of the community are calling on anyone who knows the shooter or shooters to identify them to police.
